About Tammy

Hello there, Thanks for stopping by. Firstly, as an individual, I am passionate about teaching and helping pupils/students reach their full academic potential. Tutoring provides me an opportunity to share knowledge, build relationships and inspire others to be their best. I have a B.A. in Marketing and an Associate degree in Biomedical Sciences. As a result, I draw experience and inspiration from my academic journey and the knowledge I've acquired over the years. My teaching approach is interactive and hands-on and I strive to create learning environments that are both engaging and collaborative. I have an insatiable appetite to learn and share knowledge with others. I'm immensely excited to share my stories, knowledge and experience with you, and help you reach your full learning potential. I'm equally passionate about helping you succeed academically and I am looking forward to a great learning journey with you.

About the lesson

To begin, I believe every pupil/student is unique, and I do understand that every individual has different levels of understanding and thus, requires individualized instruction. Therefore, in order to provide the best learning experience possible, I employ a unique approach to tutoring and teaching. I convey the concepts of each lesson I teach as I understand them, not as prescribed by an educational bureaucracy's textbook. Positive reinforcements and constant feedback are just some of the strategies employed in my tutoring sessions. My main subjects of expertise are Primary, Secondary and College level Maths and Biology. Finally, each tutoring session is dependent on the tutee's learning requirement.
