About Sanjana

Hi, I’m Sanjana Iyengar, a passionate and dedicated biology major on the pre-med track at UC Santa Cruz. With hands-on experience as a research assistant and a strong academic background in science, I bring both knowledge and real-world perspective to my tutoring. About the lesson

Teaching Method & Techniques:
I focus on building a strong foundation by simplifying complex concepts using visual aids, analogies, and step-by-step explanations. I incorporate active recall, spaced repetition, and problem-based learning to help students retain information and apply it confidently.

Typical Lesson Plan:
Each session begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a clear explanation of new topics. I assign optional follow-up problems and am available for clarification between sessions.
