About Charlie
I'm a second-year biology student at The University of Leeds (with a high first attained at first year), wishing to pursue a career in species conservation.
Here is a quick look at my qualifications to date:
A in A-Level Biology (alongside A* Geography and B chemistry)
9-7 (A**-A) across all GCSEs
A* graded EPQ in diabetes pathology
CertHe in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Newcastle University
As you can see, I have a strong background in STEM and a passion for biology. I enjoy tutoring and feel rewarded when students finally understand a tricky topic (photosynthesis--right!?).

My Teaching Approach
My tutoring is built on student-centred learning, meaning every lesson is tailored to your specific pace and learning style.
Consolidation is Key: We'll begin each session with a short quiz on the previous lesson. This reinforces your knowledge and ensures we're building a solid foundation week by week.
Clear & Visual Learning: As a visual learner myself, I excel at simplifying complex topics. I use diagrams and clear, simple explanations, and we'll spend as long as you need on a topic until you feel confident.
Maximising Marks: My core focus is on exam methodology. We won't just learn the content; we will master the mark schemes together. We'll practise questions to ensure every answer you write scores the optimum marks.
Lessons are flexible (typically 30-60 minutes, once or twice per week) to fit your individual needs and schedule.
