About
I have been giving lessons ever since my trip to Honduras 6 years ago. Since then, I have visited many other countries with the goal to teach English to Spanish speaking people. After I graduated with my Biology degree, I began to work in botany and greenhouse management. All of the people I was in charge of spoke Spanish and all of my bosses did not! I loved to help my co-workers learn and understand the English language so that they could work independently without a translator.

I am a recent college graduate who remembers what it is like to take high school classes. I recognize that speaking different languages isn't for everyone. It can be difficult, I know! I will never regret all of the language classes I took in high school and college. I use Spanish more than my degree in Biology! It is such an important skill to have, it helps with clear communication in the work force and opens so many doors for opportunities. As a teacher, I like to make sure that the students first understand the basics. I like to break each topic down and make sure that the student understands the material before moving forward. I like to have fun and make Spanish conversation, reading, and writing applicable to one's every day life.
