About Sydney
I’m completing my bachelor’s degree in biology at UA Little Rock, with additional study in psychology and hands-on experience in microbiology and environmental science. I have earned Dean’s List recognition and am also a Registered Behavior Technician, giving me professional experience working one-on-one, breaking complicated skills into manageable steps, and adapting instruction to individual needs. As a neurodivergent learner myself, I understand how frustrating it can feel when traditional explanations do not click. I bring patience, structure, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm for science to every lesson. My goal is to help students feel comfortable asking questions, understand the reasoning behind the material, and leave each session feeling more capable and confident.

My goal is to make science feel understandable instead of intimidating. Each lesson is personalized around what the student is learning, where the confusion begins, and how they process information best. I use clear explanations, visual examples, guided practice, and real-world connections to teach biology, general science, environmental science, and study skills. Students may bring homework, study guides, test-preparation questions, or any topic they need explained differently. Lessons are patient, encouraging, and judgment-free, with special attention to helping anxious and neurodivergent learners build confidence alongside genuine understanding.
