About Kush

I am a pre-medical Biology graduate from University of California, Riverside. I have excelled in science and math subjects. Additionally, I have done some private tutoring along with teaching fellow peers in those subjects in order to boost grades. Currently, I am researching the neural anatomy of Drosophila melanogaster via genetic manipulation through the addition of a transgenic line. Ia am truly well-versed in the subjects I teach.

About the lesson

I am a pre-medical student who has graduate from University of California, Riverside with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I have taken numerous math and science courses throughout my time there and excelled in them. My method of instruction involves preparing a lesson plan and providing the student with a set notes taken in front of the student and explained in great detail. I like to engage the student while I teach them in order to gauge their understanding of the topic. If I feel that they aren't understanding my explanation then I change my approach to better fit their learning style. I also utilize outside resources that I feel may be advantageous and most importantly, I communicate with my students and ask them if they need clarification on anything. I make it a priority to provide simple, easy-to-understand yet effective explanations so the student can easily learn the topic. When I feel that the student has understood the material, I provide them with practice questions in order to truly test their understanding and see which areas of the topic still need more work.
