About Amiraslan

Hi there! My name is Amir, and I’m a passionate biology enthusiast who has dedicated most of my academic life to studying the subject I love. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and have developed a deep understanding of biological topics. Currently, I’m working as a research assistant at Dalhousie University, where I continue to explore the fascinating world of biology every day.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my nose in a book, binge-watching a great series, playing soccer, or hanging out with my kitten (who’s always up to something mischievous).

I love seeing students gain confidence and start enjoying the subject, and I’d be happy to help you do the same. Let’s make biology a little less stressful—and maybe even fun!

In a typical lesson, we’ll start by identifying the topics or concepts you’re struggling with. I’ll explain the material in simple, yet understandable terms. We’ll work through problems or scenarios together, and I’ll provide you with extra notes, diagrams, or practice questions to reinforce your learning.

What sets me apart is my patient and adaptable teaching style. I tailor each lesson to your needs and learning pace. Whether you need help preparing for exams, troubleshooting difficult concepts, or building your knowledge from the ground up, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My lessons are designed for high school and undergraduate students studying biology, including courses like molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, anatomy, and related biology fields.
