About Paarth
I am a science tutor (biology, chemistry) who has years of experience teaching middle school, high school, and college students. I teach high students mainly for SAT prep and AP biology, as well as Biology and Chemistry for middle school and high school level science courses. I have also taught MCAT biology for college students for one year. During medical school, I taught neuroscience for 2 years, as well as physiology for 1 year and biochemistry for 1 year.

I graduated in 2014 with a B.S. in Biology from UC San Diego with a 3.5 GPA. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA. I am currently a 3rd year medical student (MD) in the honor society with a cumulative average of 90% GPA. I am currently practicing my clinical rotations at Hackensack University Medical Center, the #1 hospital in New Jersey.
Parents enjoy having me teach their children as I am a very relatable person. I make lessons interactive and engaging rather than lecturing material at students. This allows students to use their own thinking in order to solve problems - a great lifelong skill to have. This makes them not only better students, but better learners.
I am available as a part-time tutor only (as I am in medical school). I prefer online lessons, but can do in person lessons in Hackensack, NJ.
