About Molly

My name is Molly and I have recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences.
My love for biology stems from my high school biology teacher who honed in on our own personal special interests to create a connection to the subject of biology, highlighting how things we do and see in everyday life is biology.
I obtained a grade 9 in my biology GCSE, then throughout college studied lots to obtain a grade B in my biology A-Level.
From getting a grade B I reviewed my A-levels to find out where I lost marks and from that, created an action plan to help anyone else who was in my position (and just couldn't get up to that grade A mark!) reach those higher, achievable marks.

About the lesson

A structured approach, beginning with diagnostic assessment to highlight areas that need attention.
Setting targets, and then approaching them using fun games, comprehensive questions, and problem-solving work.
Reviewing through exam-style questions, and feedback created by me and the student, to aid personal development.

Typical session lasts from 30 minutes to 60 minutes, for students in year 9 to year 11 studying GCSEs, or students in year 12 or year 13, studying A-Levels.

I have a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of Liverpool and experience teaching dance to children of all ages.

Molly is a great tutor, she helped me a ton in University. When I didn’t understand key knowledge and theory she would go through the topic with me and break down each part. It’s important for me that the person teaching me doesn’t get easily frustrated and Molly was amazing and so patient!

Molly helped me through the course of my Biology A-level and was a massive help. Until I asked for Molly's help, I was really struggling, and then she really helped me to revise and learn.
