About Miguel
I am a 3rd-year student of the Integrated Master in Biological Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico. I am available for private and group classes in the areas of mathematics, physics, chemistry and English, from the 5th to the 12th grade, in the Lisbon / Alverca area. In addition to these subjects, I am also trained to teach piano and musical training, being accredited by the Association Board of Royal Schools of Music.

Being in a demanding engineering course, I argue that the best learning method is "learning bt doing" so my classes will be essentially focused on solving exercises and practical cases (preceded by an explanation of the subject, if the student so wishes), always appropriate to the individual needs of the student. I always try to bring examples from the "real world" and case studies to help the student integrate the subjects taught in the knowledge of the world around him. In addition to face-to-face assistance, I intend to provide the student with all the necessary tools for their autonomous study and progression. They will also have the possibility to clarify doubts outside the classroom, through direct contact. I believe also that the student's motivation is the key element for success so I will try to motivate them to the maximum and at all times.
