As stated above, I have experience teaching math to students for a couple years now and have taught students of various ages.

I am a second year- sophomore student in college at Pittsburgh. I have been teaching at Mathnasium (a math institute) for the past 3-4 years. There, I taught students from grades preK to 12 (and sometimes college students). I can teach anywhere between basic elementary school math to advanced high school math. I even help students prepare for SAT Math.
My techniques mainly consist of determining exactly what the student's weaknesses are. I see if the student has any specific questions. Then I rely mostly on practice and ask questions in many kinds of ways so the student is introduced to the concept in many different ways.
