About Mateo
I am currently a pre-med student with an emphasis in biochemistry at the University of California. I am in my 3rd year of studies and i have a passion for teaching. My areas of expertise include general biology, genetics, calculus, organic chemistry, and physics. I have 2 years of experience tutoring in these subjects at the university level.

I approach my classes from a problem solving perspective. I believe that the best way for a student to comprehend the material at hand is to have practical experience with relevant problem solving strategies. Thus, my tutoring sessions will consist of about 30% lecturing and 70 % problem solving. I have found this strategy to be the most effective towards higher education learning.
