About Nicholas

Hi there everyone! Thank you for coming across my bio -- it is such a pleasure to meet you! My name is Nick Syracuse, a current undergraduate student at NC State University. I am a passionate tutor with a love for teaching and experience in a wide variety of subjects, K-12, collegiate, and at the standard, honors, advanced, and AP levels. I am particularly excited to help out in SAT/ACT standardized testing and college admissions help, which I have some specialized experience with. I have worked as a tutor with contracted companies and freelance for many years, and have loved the experience I've been lucky to share with students and their families. Outside of tutoring, I am currently an intern at NASA and also pursuing degrees in biochemistry and biology. I am also an avid outdoors and sports person! I can't wait to meet you all soon.

About the lesson

Experience with a wide variety of learning types, levels, and areas and prioritizes kindness, empathy, and openness when working together with students and families. Primary goals include personalizing a tutoring plan that is best for the student and their family, as well as dedicated goal-setting and planning, as well as recognizing milestones along the way! Sessions are always a two-way learning experience, and the student's needs are always first!
