About Giannina

I'm Giannina, a bilingual university professor, writer, and dedicated mentor with over ten years of experience teaching Spanish and supporting students in academic and creative writing. I specialize in working with heritage speakers—students who grew up around Spanish but may not have had formal instruction—and help them reclaim and strengthen their voice in the language. As someone who understands what it's like to juggle multiple identities, expectations, and rhythms (especially with neurodivergence, chronic fatigue, or anxiety), I strive to create a space where students feel seen, encouraged, and challenged in the right ways.
