About Nicki

I am someone who loves helping others and transmitting knowledge. It is something I did for almost a decade in France, first teaching English and then French to American University students, and the exchange was always extremely rewarding. It took me so much longer than necessary to learn French and now that I'm back in the states I'd like to pass on the knowledge for those eager to learn in an efficient way that gives you the results you're looking for. I know firsthand how rewarding it is to truly learn another language and be able to exchange with other cultures and I want to help others do the same. My ability to communicate in French with endless cultures across multiple continents is something that continues to brighten my life and daily experiences and I'd love to give you the tools to experience the same.

About the lesson

I combine visual, auditory, and vocal techniques, a 360-degree approach to the three ways in which we acquire language through our eyes, ears and eventually through speech. I will meet you exactly where you're at in your French journey (from complete beginner to someone who wants to speak conversationally), as we move seamlessly through vocabulary, grammar, idioms, cultural insights, phonetics, the relationship with the English language and real-life conversation from day one. With my equally embarrassing American accent and inability to roll my r's (that French people actually find extremely charming) you'll feel comfortable speaking and being yourself with me.
