About Amina

Dr. Amina Ould-Brahim is a BIlingual Ontario-certified teacher with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and 25 years of experience in teaching, in French and English, Math, Chemistry, Science, Biology, and French. Her qualifications and expertise instill confidence in her abilities.

Recognizing that students often lack critical thinking and initiative, Dr. Ould-Brahim focuses on developing essential skills such as analytical thinking, independent learning, and the courage to explore new ideas.

She is committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment, emphasizing active parental involvement. By collaborating with parents to create personalized learning plans, she fosters her students' confidence and guides them toward their academic goals.

As a mentor and advisor, Dr. Ould-Brahim helps numerous students and teachers overcome challenges. Her commitment to professional development is reflected in her participation in conferences and seminars, ensuring she stays informed about the latest trends in education.

About the lesson

I specialize in teaching math (including calculus, algebra, trigonometry, advanced functions, and vectors), general science, and Grade 11–12 chemistry in English and French. I focus on learning skills and knowledge gaps, and my lessons are tailored to students ' needs and learning styles. I offer online classes through a platform that allows the same interaction as in person. Each student has their own space link and can access it whenever needed. Sessions can be recorded, allowing students to review the lesson as needed.
Regular reports are sent to parents and students, highlighting the progress made and the issues to be addressed.
I’m always available to clarify doubts, provide resources, or support learning outside scheduled sessions.
