About Elea
Having been educated in both the French and British systems, lived in both France and the UK, and taught both French and British students, I am flexible and understand the expectations of either curriculum.
Most recently, I have held conversation classes with GCSE students preparing for their speaking exam, and alongside this I tutored a British primary school student moving to France on the basics of the classroom components, and key phrases to interact with classmates and teachers.

My approach to teaching French remains the same whether I am giving lessons to a beginner or someone with a B2 level: it is to build up confidence in both speaking and writing skills in a judgment-free constructive environment.
I use a wide range of interactive online resources, some of which I create myself, to keep lessons centred on the student's interests. I also make use of clips of French television and news reports to expose students not only to native material but also to the culture.
