About Alais

With one year of experience teaching French to children aged 6 to 12, I have developed a teaching approach that adapts to each student. My mother tongue is French, and I am also perfectly bilingual in English thanks to my travels around the world.

Despite my young age (14 years old), I have a deep maturity and understanding of the French language, acquired not only through my personal education, but also through the influence of my mother, who is a French teacher. She taught me a lot about how to work with people and share my knowledge effectively.

I believe learning should be fun and engaging. This is why I incorporate fun and interactive elements into my lessons to make the learning experience more enjoyable.

As a tutor, I am committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism. I am well prepared for each lesson, and I strive to create a safe and welcoming learning environment for all of my students.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is centered around understanding the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Here's how I share my knowledge:

I use a variety of teaching techniques such as direct instruction, guided practice, and independent practice. I also incorporate interactive activities and real-world examples to make the learning experience engaging and meaningful.

A typical lesson starts with a brief review of the previous lesson to reinforce learning. Then, I introduce the new topic, explain the concepts, and demonstrate how to apply them. This is followed by guided practice where the student tries to solve problems with my assistance. The lesson ends with independent practice where the student works on problems independently. I provide feedback and address any questions or difficulties the student may have.

What sets me apart is my ability to adapt my teaching style to suit the learning style of each student. I am patient, understanding, and dedicated to helping my students achieve their learning goals. I also bring a unique perspective to teaching as I am bilingual I understand the struggle of learning different languages even if it is your native language.

My lessons are for anyone who wants to learn or improve their French, regardless of their current level. Whether you're a beginner just starting out, an intermediate student looking to improve, I can tailor my lessons to meet your needs. I can also cater to specific requirements such as preparation for French exams, conversational French, etc.
