About Tresa Mary

Teaching has been a part of my journey since my school days, where I regularly guided classmates and later began taking tuition classes during my graduation. Over the years, I have developed a passion for simplifying concepts and helping students build both confidence and practical understanding in their subjects.

I hold a B.Com (Hons.) and M.Com from Christ University with a specialization in Banking & Insurance. I have also cleared the Associate level examinations of the Insurance Institute of India and am currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Commerce, focusing on ESG and BRSR research.

Professionally, I work as a full-time Assistant Manager in US Tax and have gained experience with two of the Big 4 firms — Deloitte and EY. My industry exposure allows me to connect academic concepts with real-world applications, helping students gain practical insights alongside theoretical knowledge.

Apart from academic coaching, I also mentor college students in interview preparation through one-on-one mock interviews, resume guidance, communication tips, and strategies to confidently handle academic and corporate interviews.

I aim to mentor and guide students and professionals who are looking for support in Commerce, Accounting, Banking & Insurance, ESG/BRSR, and US Taxation. My teaching approach focuses on conceptual clarity, practical exposure, and creating a comfortable learning environment where students can confidently ask questions and grow at their own pace.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on simplifying concepts and explaining subjects through practical, relatable examples that students can easily understand. Classes will be structured according to the student’s syllabus, learning pace, and academic goals.

I teach both school and college-level students, with a strong focus on conceptual clarity, exam preparation, and confidence building. I am especially passionate about mentoring students preparing for professional examinations conducted by the Insurance Institute of India through subject guidance, revision support, and mock tests.

I also provide interview training for college students, including one-on-one mock interviews, guidance on interview preparation, communication skills, and tips to confidently handle academic and corporate interviews.

With academic and industry experience in Commerce, Banking & Insurance, ESG, and US Taxation, I aim to make learning practical, engaging, and career-oriented.
