About Dana
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching and professional experience, dedicated to helping school and college students grow into confident musicians. My teaching journey has been filled with rewarding moments, especially seeing students who once struggled with basic chords later perform complete songs with confidence and expression.
I strongly focus on building strong fundamentals such as correct posture, finger placement, rhythm accuracy, chord transitions, and scale practice. I believe that a clear understanding of basics makes advanced learning easier and more enjoyable.
My classes are structured, supportive, and encouraging, allowing students to learn comfortably while maintaining steady progress. I also guide students on how to practice effectively at home and manage their time wisely alongside academics.
My goal is not just to teach guitar techniques but to inspire discipline, patience, and self-confidence that benefits students in every aspect of life.

In my Guitar classes, I create a structured yet flexible learning environment based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I motivate students by helping them understand that patience and regular practice lead to success. Clear communication allows students to ask questions freely and understand each concept thoroughly.
I break down lessons into smaller steps, focusing on chord clarity, rhythm control, smooth transitions, and scale development. Integrity plays a strong role in my approach, as I emphasise disciplined practice routines, accurate timing, and correct finger techniques. I provide honest and constructive feedback to guide improvement.
Creativity is developed through improvisation exercises, exploring new chord progressions, and learning songs from different genres. In addition to Guitar, I also teach harmony basics and performance confidence skills.
