About Valeria
With over 12 years of experience teaching piano, I enjoy helping college students become skilled and confident musicians. My lessons are designed to make learning comfortable, inspiring, and focused on practical success.
My teaching style is encouraging and adaptable. I explain every lesson in simple English, demonstrate techniques clearly, and adjust lessons according to each student's abilities and goals.
I use innovative teaching methods including digital piano applications, rhythm-building exercises, ear training, keyboard drills, and creative performance practice. These techniques make learning enjoyable while improving technical ability.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, posture, rhythm, musical expression, and effective practice habits. I provide continuous support and detailed feedback that encourages steady improvement.

My teaching methodology is based on creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience for every piano student. This helps students stay motivated and improve with confidence.
I use real-life examples and simple case studies to explain musical concepts. Rhythm is connected with everyday activities like walking, clapping, and speaking. Music theory is taught through familiar songs so students can easily understand scales, chords, and melodies. These practical examples make learning interesting and easier to remember.
Understanding is the foundation of my teaching. I explain every topic step by step and encourage students to ask questions whenever they have doubts. I believe students learn better when they understand the reason behind every exercise instead of simply memorizing it.
Communication is an important part of every lesson. I explain concepts in simple English, give clear demonstrations, and provide regular feedback. I also encourage students to discuss their practice challenges so I can guide them effectively.
Integrity is one of my core values. I teach with honesty, respect, patience, and professionalism. I motivate students to practice consistently and celebrate every improvement they achieve.
Apart from piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, improvisation, chord progressions, accompaniment techniques, and beginner music composition. My goal is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning throughout their lives.
