About Lin
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching and professional experience, dedicated to helping students build both technical skill and confidence.
I teach school and college learners, guiding them step by step from simple chord exercises to performing complete songs independently. Witnessing students transform from hesitant beginners to confident performers has been one of the proudest milestones of my career.
I focus on developing a strong foundation through rhythm mastery, chord transitions, scale practice, finger exercises, and musical expression. I also encourage creativity, personal style, and stage presence, allowing students to enjoy music while developing their own musical identity.
My classes are structured, patient, and motivating, ensuring consistent progress. I also provide guidance on effective practice routines, goal-setting, and performance preparation. My mission is to nurture confident, disciplined, and lifelong guitarists.

In my Guitar classes, I create a positive and structured learning environment using Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I motivate students by encouraging consistent effort and helping them recognise their progress regularly.
Communication plays a vital role in my teaching, as I break down complex topics like barre chords, rhythm variations, and scale applications into small, manageable lessons.
I ensure students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their musical interests. Integrity ensures that I maintain high teaching standards by emphasising proper technique, smooth chord transitions, and disciplined daily practice habits.
I offer constructive feedback and continuous encouragement. Creativity is developed through improvisation practice, songwriting activities, and exploring diverse musical genres. In addition to Guitar, I also teach harmony basics and rhythm development skills.
