Berklee College of Music graduate with over a decade of experience in the music industry. I specialize in songwriting and guitar but also teaching music theory and production for songwriters in Logic.

I've been working with Keyser for a few months now. She's an outstanding teacher and I can't recommend her highly enough. I first started with her as a beginning guitar player and I'm very excited about the progress that I've made. The classes themselves are excellent. I told her upfront that I didn't just want to learn how to play, but I also wanted to learn the music theory behind it. Each class, she explains a different piece of theory in a way that even a novice like me can understand. What's even more helpful is that she ties what she's teaching to practical guitar applications. Keyser has also given me a number of helpful exercises to do on my own that have helped improve speed, accuracy, finger strength, and cord transitions, among others. We've also worked together on playing songs that I've selected. She's incredibly thorough and works with me on timing, strumming patterns, and solos until I can play it confidently. And on top of all of this, she's kind and patient, which is exactly what I hoped for when I started looking for a teacher. Highly, highly recommended.

Keyser and I met in college and have collaborated on many projects over the years. She is an incredibly talented, patient, and energetic tutor who brings in knowledge from different musical areas such as touring, engineering, producing, and songwriting. She's reliable, experienced, and most importantly, kind. An amazing fit for any person looking for a high-quality tutor.

Such a great teacher and so cool. Great musician—you can hear it in the guitar playing I catch during some of the online lessons (we’ve done years of both online and in person), and that musicianship comes through in my son’s constantly improving playing too. Consistently leads to real “level-ups,” and stays inspiring and motivating. The best part is my son now sees teaching guitar as something he wants to do someday too—Keyser sets a great example and shows up. Thank you! Really amazing.

Keyser is great! I’ve improved so much with her. She explains everything in a way that makes sense for each student. Highly recommend her to anyone at any level. She loves what she does and it shows.

Keyser is highly talented, professional, and exceptionally skilled. My daughter absolutely enjoys music lessons. We highly recommend Keyser to anyone seeking a dedicated and capable music educator

From her student (age 9)
“Keyser is a nice person. She rolls with it. She can always adapt to what her student wants to do. My time with her is always nice. She is a fun, creative person and an inspiring teacher.”

My son has been taking lessons with Keyser for over a year. He started out wanting voice lessons, and they eventually transitioned into song-writing together and exploring music production. She let him explore various instruments, including drums, until he settled on learning guitar. He’s a really creative kid whose interests can be kind of all-over-the-place. It’s not always easy to draw his focus. Keyser always meets him right where he is in the moment—with encouragement and creative enthusiasm. We trust Keyser implicitly. She manages to bring a playful, nurturing energy while still teaching foundational skillsets to become a successful musician.
