About Sayak
I am a multi-instrumentalist artist and songwriter that graduated from the Berklee College of Music. I've been playing piano since the age of 3 and picked up gutiar, piano, drums, bass, and singing throughout my childhood. With my artist project and former bands, I have had the opportunity to play festivals such as Osheaga Montreal, Vans Warped Tour, the Boston Music Awards, etc. Currently I am schedule to tour in the fall with my solo project, as well as play a much anticipated set at the famed Brooklyn Mirage in August.

My teaching methods are all encompassing - together we find pieces of music from artist that you like and use that to reverse engineer our way towards a deeper understanding of music theory, as well as the the techniques behind playing your instrument at the highest level. At the beginning of lessons, I also incorporate excercises for dexterity, speed, and strength. For vocals, warm up routines are the first thing we tackle. As we move forward, we will build out a wide repertoire of music to choose from, as well as equip you with the tools to succeed outside of our lessons.
