About Kelvin

Hi, I’m Kelvin, a UC Berkeley student, entrepreneur, and former professional eSports player with a passion for business, technology, and helping others grow. I was valedictorian of Whitney High School, one of the top-ranked high schools in California, and I now co-run a San Francisco-based AI startup valued at $4M while also working for a YC-backed company.

My background includes professional Fortnite competition, where I earned over $50,000 through tournaments and sponsorships, along with experience in tutoring, varsity tennis, music, and community service. These experiences have shaped me into a disciplined, adaptable, and supportive mentor who loves helping students succeed both academically and personally.

About the lesson

I keep every lesson highly tailored to the student. Everyone learns differently, so I focus on understanding where you are, what you need help with, and how to teach in a way that actually works for you. I can help across a wide range of subjects, and beyond just teaching the material, I use my own experience, strategies, and network to help students build confidence, improve quickly, and put themselves in the best position to succeed.

He is amazing! My son really enjoys being tutored by Kelvin. Because he is young, he can relate and tutor better in ways that young people understand. When I found out he was Valedictorian at his prestigious high school, I knew I hit the tutoring lottery!
