About Betty
"Teenagers and professionals often arrive at my door feeling intimidated by the nuances of French phonetics. Sometimes I struggle to explain why a native speaker finds certain sounds so natural while a student feels blocked.
My 13 years of experience taught me how to break these barriers down. As a native speaker with an MA in Applied Linguistics and CELTA, I provide a clear framework for your learning. I focus on pronunciation, liaison, and those tricky nasal sounds.
My work with Year 11 and 12 students informs how I structure sessions for hobbyists. I value the way language reveals cultural context and personal history."
