About Evelyn
I’m Evelyn, and singing has been one of my biggest passions for many years. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in the United States, with a focus on vocal training, choir instruction, and beginner music development. Over the years, I’ve worked with many beginner singers who wanted help with confidence, technique, and musical expression.
I have more than 8 years of experience teaching singing through online one-to-one live lessons. Before independent tutoring, I worked at Harmony Bridge Music Academy, California, where I taught beginner vocal students and helped them prepare for school performances, choir programs, and youth music events. Later, I taught at Sunrise Performing Arts Studio, Texas, where I supported students with vocal warmups, pitch development, and stage confidence.
These academy experiences taught me how to guide students with different personalities and learning speeds. I worked with nervous beginners, shy performers, and students who wanted to sing more confidently in front of others. I received a Youth Vocal Instruction Recognition Award for creating lessons that helped beginner singers grow with confidence.
I also have experience teaching online and currently work with students from various parts of the world. That has helped me understand how to adapt my teaching for different accents, musical preferences, and learning styles. I enjoy making every lesson feel personal, encouraging, and meaningful.

I teach online singing lessons for complete beginners and beginner-level students who want to improve their voice in a supportive and relaxed environment. My lessons are designed for students of all ages, including young children, teens, high school students, college freshmen, and adult learners who are just beginning to explore singing.
In my singing lessons, students can learn breathing techniques, vocal warmups, pitch control, harmony singing, choir preparation, vocal projection, music reading, rhythm practice, stage confidence, microphone handling, emotional expression, and beginner performance skills. I also help students understand how to sing with clarity, expression, and better control over their voice.
Some students join because they want to sing confidently at school, in church, in talent shows, or in community performances. Others simply want to enjoy music at home and learn how to use their voice better. I support both goals with personalized lessons that match each student’s comfort level.
I believe beginner singers learn best when they feel safe and encouraged. That is why I keep lessons simple, clear, and motivating. I help students improve step by step so they can feel proud of their progress.
