About Claudine

I am a dedicated career educator based in Pretoria with over 15 years of experience in shaping young minds across South Africa and abroad. My academic journey—holding a 4-year Bachelor of Education and a BCom in Financial Management—reflects my belief that learning should be both structured and practical. Currently, I work within the IEB online school system, which keeps me at the forefront of modern digital education and curriculum standards.

Beyond the classroom, I am a lifelong learner who is passionate about the "lightbulb moment"—that specific second when a student finally grasps a complex accounting equation or finds the right word in a new language.

Why I Love Teaching
For me, teaching is not just about transferring information; it is about empowerment. I love teaching because it allows me to:

Build Confidence: There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student move from "I can't do this" to "I've got this," especially in challenging subjects like Accounting or Afrikaans.

Bridge the Gap: My background in Financial Management allows me to show students that what they learn in Business Studies isn't just a textbook theory—it is a tool they will use for the rest of their lives.

Teaching is my calling, and my goal is to provide a supportive, high-energy environment where every student feels seen, heard, and challenged to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

With over 15 years of experience and current involvement in a top-tier IEB online school, I provide a stable, high-speed, and uninterrupted learning environment from my home office in Pretoria. I understand the pressure of schooling and provide the emotional and academic support necessary to turn "passing" into "distinctions."

My teaching philosophy is built on the Scaffolding Method, where I break down complex commercial concepts into manageable, logical blocks. What makes me unique is my dual-expertise: I combine the pedagogical precision of a Bachelor of Education with the real-world financial literacy of a BCom in Financial Management.
