About Douglas

Private tutored part time since graduating from University of Bath.
• Students range in age from 6 to 18 and vary widely in ability and learning style.
• Past students studying at degree level in the UK
• Experience teaching AQA, Edexcel and OCR at A level.
• GCSE experience with Edexcel International syllabus and Cambridge International.
• Before university, I studied Maths (A), Further Maths (A), Physics (A) and Economics (B) at A level.
• At GCSE I achieved 5A*s, 4As and 1B

About the lesson

I specialize in simplifying physics through practical examples and effective strategies, honed during my Aerospace Engineering degree at Bath. Having successfully tackled challenging physics problems, I'm eager to share shortcuts and insights to help students excel.

Physics doesn't have to be intimidating. My mission is to empower students with tools that streamline complex concepts, allowing them to navigate physics confidently and reach their full potential.

Drawing from my own academic journey, I've refined approaches and experimented with learning techniques to uncover efficient ways to succeed in physics exams. Now, I'm here to guide students on a quicker path to success in physics.
