About Rasheka

Hi! I am a law graduate who has completed the Bar Training Course at Cardiff University with a Very Competent grade, and I am currently completing the Master of Laws component of my studies.

Having recently completed the Bar Training Course myself, I understand how challenging legal studies can be, particularly when it comes to understanding complex legal principles, applying the law to problem questions, and preparing for examinations. I want to help students develop their confidence in these areas and find a way of studying law that works for them.

I can offer support to undergraduate law students, Graduate Diploma in Law students, and Bar Training Course students. Whether you need help understanding difficult topics, structuring problem question answers, improving legal writing, developing your legal analysis, or preparing for examinations, I aim to break down complicated concepts into clear, manageable explanations.

My teaching approach is patient, flexible, and tailored to each student's needs. I believe that learning law is not simply about memorising cases and legislation, but about understanding the reasoning behind legal principles and knowing how to apply them effectively. I will work with you to identify areas for improvement, strengthen your understanding, and build the skills needed to approach your studies with greater confidence.

As someone who has recently navigated these qualifications myself, I can also share practical study strategies and insights into preparing for assessments. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenging concepts, and learning at your own pace.

Whether you are looking for regular tuition or help with a particular topic or upcoming assessment, I would be happy to support you in your legal studies!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is flexible and tailored to each student's learning style, experience and goals. I specialise in helping students entering legal studies or the legal profession understand complex legal principles, break down cases and develop effective examination techniques without unnecessary legal jargon.

Lessons typically last one hour, with two-hour sessions available for advocacy skills. Each session focuses on your individual needs, whether that means revisiting difficult topics, improving problem-question answers, strengthening legal reasoning or preparing for assessments.

I can also create personalised study notes, flashcards and visual aids to make revision more engaging and help you retain key information. My aim is to make law less intimidating, build your confidence and help you develop practical skills that you can apply throughout your legal studies.
