About Cora

With over 9 years of experience and an MSc in Mathematics and Machine Learning, I bring expertise and creativity to teaching mathematics. I specialise in competitive problem-solving with a focus on number theory, combinatorics, and functional equations. My teaching philosophy is holistic, blending clarity of concepts with imaginative approaches. I have guided many students preparing for international olympiads and advanced contests. My lessons encourage learners to go beyond formulas and explore problems deeply. We often look at multiple methods, analyse their strengths, and discover connections. I believe unconventional strategies can open doors to elegant solutions. This way, students learn to see mathematics as both challenging and rewarding. I emphasise critical thinking, persistence, and creativity at every step. Problem-solving becomes less about rushing to answers and more about understanding processes. I encourage learners to experiment and grow as independent thinkers. My mission is to help them develop lasting confidence in mathematics. About the lesson

My approach to teaching maths is systematic, simple, and highly effective. I focus on helping students gain clarity while improving speed and accuracy. Mental maths techniques, estimation skills, and quick calculation tricks are included in every lesson. These skills give learners confidence in exams and real-life challenges. I also emphasise structured problem-solving strategies that guide students step by step. Once they are comfortable, I introduce creative hacks and alternative approaches. This helps them adapt to different situations with ease. I have taught students preparing for engineering pathways as well as those interested in data. They benefit from both strong foundations and fast techniques. Regular feedback ensures that progress is continuous. Students quickly see their improvement and feel more motivated. I want them to view maths as manageable and rewarding. Together, we work on mental agility, quick problem-solving, and confidence. The goal is to boost their skills and help them excel in every challenge.
