I’m a bachelor’s student at St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, and English has always been one of my favorite subjects. I genuinely enjoy the process of learning and teaching it—it’s a subject that lets you express yourself, think creatively, and communicate with confidence. Over time, I’ve discovered that I love helping others understand English better, whether it’s through improving grammar, writing, or just feeling comfortable speaking. Teaching gives me joy because it’s not only about sharing knowledge but also about encouraging students to believe in themselves. I like to begin by understanding where a student currently stands with English and what they want to achieve—be it better grammar, clearer writing, or more confidence in speaking. From there, I shape my lessons around their needs instead of following a rigid plan. I keep my classes interactive, using stories, examples, and small activities so learning feels practical and not overwhelming. I believe in steady progress, gentle feedback, and creating a space where mistakes are seen as steps forward. My goal is simple: to help students feel comfortable with English and gradually start enjoying it, not just studying it for exams.
