About Mira
I hold a bachelor’s degree in music and have taught guitar for seven years, working with students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching style is patient and encouraging, aimed at helping learners discover their unique musical path while mastering essential techniques. My own guitar experience spans classical, blues, and contemporary music, which enriches the lessons I provide. I’ve performed live and recorded professionally, allowing me to offer practical insights into playing and performing. This background helps me tailor lessons to diverse musical tastes. My guitar lessons start by building a solid technical foundation, focusing on proper hand positioning, chord shapes, and strumming patterns. Beginners learn through simple songs that reinforce skills and boost confidence. Lessons are paced to suit your individual progress, making sure fundamentals are strong.
As you advance, I introduce fingerpicking styles, scales, and music theory concepts to enrich your playing. We explore rhythm exercises and improvisation techniques that allow you to develop your own musical voice. Each lesson combines theory with practical application to make learning engaging and effective.
I also help students prepare for performances or auditions by working on stage presence and repertoire. Whether you want to play solo or in a band, lessons emphasize musicality and expression. Regular feedback and goal setting keep you motivated and moving forward.
