About Rory
I fell in love with English and writing, after returning to school in 2019, after a long break. I chose to major in English and developed skills as a writer that I now use both personally and professionally. Being able to impart the knowledge I have to students developing their own skills in writing is a great privilege.

I recently graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s in English. My degree included a focus on rhetoric and professional writing. But I enjoy writing of all styles, and believe we all have a voice. It will be my goal as your tutor to help you improve your writing, by helping you to develop your voice and technique. I will work with my students to identify their needs and help them to help themselves, by engaging them in meaningful ways, while helping to increase their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter at hand.
