About Alice

I began classical singing lessons at a young age, before going on to study jazz voice at the Conservatory of Music and completing a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. This background has given me a strong foundation in technique, musicality, improvisation, and performance. My love of singing has grown into a professional career, with experience performing at regular gigs, on cruise ships, in Hong Kong, and through overseas contracts. These opportunities have shaped me into a versatile performer and teacher who understands both the technical and creative sides of singing. I’m passionate about helping singers feel confident in their voice and enjoy the process of learning. Having started young myself, I understand how important it is to feel supported while developing your technique, finding your own style, and growing your love for music.

About the lesson

Lessons are shaped around your voice, goals, experience level, and the kind of singer you want to become. Whether you are just starting out, returning to singing, preparing for performances, or wanting to strengthen a specific area of your voice, each lesson will be tailored to what you are looking for. We’ll work on healthy vocal technique, breath support, tone, control, range, confidence, and choosing songs that suit your voice and style. I can also help you explore different genres, including jazz, pop, soul, R&B, and contemporary music, so you can build versatility and discover what feels most natural for you. Alongside vocal technique, we can focus on performance skills, stage presence, expression, storytelling, improvisation, songwriting, and how to work with or lead a band. If you’re interested in developing your own sound, we can look at phrasing, interpretation, arranging songs, and bringing more personality into your performance. You’ll also receive practical exercises to use between lessons, helping you keep improving outside the lesson room and build confidence in your own voice over time.
