About Jaime
"I have 10 years of experience teaching piano, composing music, and performing as a musician. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis, which has shaped my understanding of harmony, structure, and creative expression. I believe music is a lifelong journey where every player continues to learn and grow.
My teaching focuses on helping students create unique improvisational pieces and develop spontaneous composition skills. I enjoy showing students how to turn simple musical ideas into expressive performances and original works. My lessons combine technical training with creativity so students can build confidence at the piano.
I work with both beginners discovering music for the first time and advanced musicians looking to expand their creative abilities. I remember helping a student create their first improvised piece by exploring simple melodies and chords, and their excitement showed the power of creative freedom. These moments inspire me to continue teaching.
I believe every musician has a unique voice that can be developed through exploration and practice. My goal is to guide students through their musical journey while helping them become confident performers and creators. I look forward to helping you discover new ideas and express yourself through the piano."

"My teaching approach combines traditional piano skills with modern music technology to expand creative possibilities. Lessons include using digital pianos, synthesizers, DAWs, and basic recording techniques to help students explore new ways of creating music. I believe technology can support strong musicianship when combined with proper piano foundations.
I teach students how to use digital tools for arranging, recording, sound design, and developing musical ideas. For example, we may record a simple piano melody and add different sounds or layers to explore how a piece can grow. This process helps students understand the connection between performance and production.
I also focus on creativity, improvisation, and developing personal musical expression through modern tools. Students learn how to experiment with electronic sounds while maintaining good technique and musical understanding. Each lesson is adjusted to match individual goals and learning styles.
My goal is to help pianists discover new creative possibilities and feel confident using technology in their music. I support students in building both traditional piano skills and modern production abilities. Together, we can explore the electronic side of piano and make your piano sound bigger."
