About Kemunto

Hi, I’m Kemunto! I’m an educator-in-training with a passion for making learning a space where you can feel safe, supported, and challenged in all the right ways. I believe the best learning happens when you feel confident enough to ask questions, take risks, and think for yourself—so I create lessons that make that possible. I bring a mix of structure and flexibility, tailoring each session to your needs and goals. We’ll laugh, explore ideas, and celebrate progress, but we’ll also get the work done. I’m here to help you grow—not just in grades, but in confidence and skills you can carry with you long after our lessons.

About the lesson

About Me
I’m Kemunto, an empathetic educator-in-training with a background in communications, sociology, English, French, youth mentorship, and leadership. My teaching philosophy is all about creating safe, inclusive spaces where students feel confident to ask questions, take risks, and grow.

My Approach
I invest in strategies tailored to each student, combining structure with flexibility to meet their needs. Lessons use clear goals, hands-on activities, and real-life examples to make learning both engaging and meaningful.

A Lesson With Me
We start with a quick check-in and clearly state the goals for our session. Then we review what you know, explore new material through interactive practice and relatable examples, and finish with a recap plus a simple next step to keep you moving forward.

Who I Teach
I work with elementary to high school students, as well as university learners needing support with communications, sociology, writing, and adapting to academic life—such as international students.
