About Nicole
My name is Nicole Baker, I am 27 years old and from Johannesburg, South Africa.
I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education (with distinction) obtained at the University of South Africa. I am currently studying my Honours Degree in Inclusive Education via the University of South Africa
I am currently completing my TEFL Level 3 certificate. Through the TEFL Academy. I am passionate about Inclusive and special needs education. I believe all children, no matter their circumstances deserve a fair chance at receiving an equal and exciting education.
I have been teaching in South Africa for the past 7 years and I am currently a Grade 00 Teacher (4-5 year olds) I have taught and had experience with students from 18 months.
Teaching and the development of young minds has always been a passion of mine, I enjoy teaching English and reading to young children.
I am an extremely motivated, open minded, creative and a goal driven individual. I believe in being well-organized and punctual with my teaching practices. I believe that I have a lot to offer and all potential students and their families as I am extremely passionate about education and the shaping of young minds.
I am kind, friendly and enthusiastic. I have strong values about punctuality and providing constructive and helpful feedback. My students will have an opportunity to learn and grow their English language development in a calm and stimulating online classroom environment. I make use of bright and exciting teaching aids and resources to support my lesson. I offer reward systems and interactive teaching to students.
