About Evelyn

Hello! I’m Teacher Evelyn. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher and a TEFL-certified English teacher from the Philippines. I teach English and Math to beginners and young learners, from kindergarten to grade school. I also offer English-to-Filipino (Tagalog) and English-to-Cebuano (Bisaya) translation lessons.
I have two years of experience as a volunteer teacher. My classes are engaging, student-centered, and tailored to each learner's needs. I help students improve their English, Filipino, and Cebuano communication skills while making learning enjoyable, effective, and confidence-building.
My experience has strengthened my classroom management, communication, and lesson-planning skills while teaching me the value of patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.
I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, and building confidence in their English, Filipino, and Cebuano communication skills. Teaching has been a rewarding experience, and I am passionate about helping students become confident communicators while inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
