About Tanner

Hello there! My name is Tanner Bailey and at the heart of everything, I am a creator. I love writing and it is one of my passions that I share with the world. I am a published poet, author, and songwriter! Writing is so important to me as a form of expression and it's one of the reasons I love to help teach it to students. I've been writing my whole life and it is a gift that I love to share. I enjoy listening to people's stories and connecting with what they love to do! I'm patient, empathetic, discerning, and I love to love! A big passion in my life is the ability to be of service, which is why I love to teach and mentor because it is so satisfying to me to watch my students grow. I hope I will be able to share my gifts with you!

About the lesson

We will work together on the student's math skills with lessons I create. This involves using practice homework assignments (or the student's personal homework), reading through math books together to learn concepts, and having the student solve problems themselves under my guidance. The lessons are tailored to fit the student's specific needs. This can also include test prep, SAT, and ACT practice work to ensure the student is prepared. I've taught math for over 3 years and all of my students have found success in this work. I'm very patient, caring, attentive, and understanding of my students' needs.
