About Athens

I’m a current university student studying International Business and Finance at Monash University. I’ve been through the challenges of school myself, so I understand how important it is to have clear guidance and patient support. I like to break down topics step by step, using simple explanations that make things easier to understand. I received an A in my IB Extended Essay and enjoy helping students feel more confident in their learning. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where questions are always welcome, and progress is made at your own pace.

About the lesson

I teach with precision, structure, and intent. My goal is not just to help students pass, but to make them understand deeply, retain confidently, and apply intelligently. Every session is adapted to the student’s pace, level, and personal learning style—whether they’re struggling or aiming for top marks.

Teaching Methodology
I combine proven academic strategies with high-performance discipline:

Active recall & spaced repetition – I structure my sessions to reinforce long-term retention.

Tailored breakdowns – Complex topics are simplified into logical steps using real-world examples and exam-style problems.

Performance mindset – I train not just academic skills, but also confidence, time management, and exam execution—especially for high-stakes VCE or uni exams.

️ Lesson Duration
Most lessons run for 60 minutes, with flexibility to extend up to 90 minutes based on content or student momentum. I keep sessions sharp and engaging to avoid fatigue and maximize learning per minute.

Qualifications & Experience
I'm a high-performing student at Monash University, studying International Business and Banking & Finance, consistently achieving High Distinctions.

I earned an A in my Extended Essay during the International Baccalaureate (IB), showcasing my ability to research, structure, and communicate complex ideas at a high academic level.

I’ve tutored peers and students in Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, Maths, Finance, and Business Statistics—helping them not only understand content but also improve performance.

My background as a active trader adds structure and discipline to my teaching style—I treat tutoring as both strategy and execution.
