Learning is embarrassing...It can be a narrow path that seems impossible to navigate; to open up yourself to a world of uncertainty, failure and frustration. This has definitely been my experience at times! But I think these are the building blocks to learning something; the necessities. I'm excited to help you navigate your own path, your own journey of failure and frustration to get to confidence and strength. Everyone has this potential inside of them - absolutely everyone! It's what you do with your potential that really counts. To take what you already have and make something spectacular out of it! I can assure you of my utmost priority to make sure you're taking the proper steps to hone your English skills but more importantly to gain confidence in yourself to apply these skills

As a tutor, I strongly believe in the power of patience! English can be a very tricky subject to pick up as it involves learning and honing skills that can only work if turned into a strong habit. There is no definite answer such as two plus two when it comes to English, that's why it can be difficult to navigate this subject. Hence why I like to value patience and repetition in skills such as essay writing, close reading analyses, spelling/grammar, presentations and speeches! Everybody learns differently however, and I would love to get to know the ways each student learns well to better develop their skills! The length of a typical lesson can be tailored to the tutee, but a suitable length can be as low as 45 min. I did tutoring groups in high school and found that discussion was a powerful tool to create growth in a subject like English. My experience mainly stems from this and English being my most successful subject in high school; I am currently studying university-level English literature. My lessons are for all levels from elementary to high school level English, and for all ages learning between these levels.
