About Fernanda
I am Fernanda a 25 years old musician. I have been dedicated to the piano since I was 12 years old, it is an instrument that I am passionate about as well as the voice. Art and music have always been part of me. They allow me to express myself with a freedom that I rarely get with words. I am a responsible and applied girl. A bit of a perfectionist but above all passionate, I adore my work. I love teaching and being able to accompany others to fall in love with the piano and music

My work is based on the Suzuki method. During my training I learned about the didactics for teaching music, that is why I rely on this method to facilitate the teaching of the piano. My classes are aimed at the public of any age, beginners, and intermediates.
In my classes I tend to be quite open, I like to get to know my students to be able to offer them my knowledge in a simple way for their understanding, and above all, I focus on making the experience fun and dynamic. I always provide a folder in Drive where I publish pieces, exercises, the books we use, and even information that I find interesting.
I organize class time this way (it is subject to change to adapt to the needs of each student):
- The first 15 to 20 minutes are dedicated to the warm-up, practical exercises to correct posture, strengthen the fingers and gain agility.
- Then I dedicate about 15 minutes to the Theoretical part that will be learned through the readings of small pieces/exercises from books such as Beyer, Duvernoy, Czerny ...
- The rest of the class will play the chosen piece, while I give you techniques of study and correct any detail. So that when it comes to practicing your doubts, they are resolved and you have a clear plan to start your practice.
