James takes my daughters youth drama class. The children all think he's great and he's so good with them, makes sure the class is creative and fun but also ensures any over excitement is dealt with in a subtle way to ensure all can enjoy the class and task set.

I think James has a good style of observing the children's different strengths and helping them get involved in various different ways.

He also got the class involved in ideas for a screenplay and incorporated their ideas into it along with his own. It was really good and filled with fun and humour and the children loved seeing it all come together.

James has taught our son drama for the last year and he loves it. His class recently performed a production of Theseus and the Minotaur which James produced and directed. It was an hour-long production which involved all the kids - approximately 25 of them - and was fun and fantastic. James is enthusiastic and patient with the kids and seems to get the best from them whether they are confident or shy.

My children attend youth theatre classes lead by James. They've really enjoyed his classes and I've been really impressed with how much effort James has put in to create material for the children to perform.
James is exceptionally good with the children and is very flexible helpful and supportive.
My youngest child is fairly shy and I've been amazed that he's had the confidence to stand up in front of a room of adults and perform and I think that's a reflection of how well James leads his classes and helps build the confidence of the kids
