About Wayne

I have been teaching / mentoring for over two decades, delivering classes in schools, colleges and universities. I ensure that every student receives the best media education, resulting in excellent teaching experiences and the best possible results. Using unique teaching methods and materials that will inspire. Software: Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Final Cut Pro X. Various camera and film equipment. I received an award from the Mayor of London for outstanding contribution to improving London and the quality of life for Londoners. I won the Prestigious ProductionBase Award Freelancer of the Year: Beyond The Call Of Duty. I feature in the British Film Institute book ‘Teaching Black Cinema’ (BFI) and also feature in ‘The Black British Filmmaker’s Guide to Success’. I have taught and mentored over 8000 students. About the lesson

Teaching GCSE, BTEC, A Level and undergraduate media studies. I inspire students to achieve great academic results. Winning awards (ProductionBase, BBC & ITN) for filming and editing work. Educational Ambassador for INTO Film. I impart industry knowledge into my lessons and set targets that challenge pupils of all backgrounds. I trained in London (BRITS, UEL, BBC, ITN & Westminster University), USA and Caribbean before becoming a full-time writer, director, producer and editor. I took up the post of media specialist at various education institutions around the UK in 2002. I later took up the post of Educational Ambassador for INTO Film in 2014. During this time, I also co-founded the BossCrowns Pop Up and Online Film School. I have prepared students for exams and the media industry. In my additional role as filmmaker and producer, I won the prestige ‘Programmers’ Awards PAFF 2022 for our film Race Today. Lesson are 1hr Qualifications: MA Screenplay Writing and Producing University of Westminster. BSc (Hons) New Technology and Media Communications University of East London. BTEC ND, Media, TV, Video & Film BRITS Performing Arts & Technology School.

Perfect! I just wanted to leave whole-hearted thanks to Wayne who stepped in last minute to help to support my son with his A'level Media Studies revision.

Wayne came in person (which seems very hard to find nowadays). He was very personable and created an instant rapport with my son and got straight into the main principles, topics and approaches needed for him to pass his Media Studies essay paper.

It's been great to have him in the run-up weeks to the exam and I wish we had found him sooner. An excellent tutor! Thank you Wayne.

My name is Aaron I am a btec level 3 creative media student and my journey with Wayne started around October 2023 and he has helped me significantly through hard times where i didn't feel like I wasn’t going to finish the work or I didn't see anything coming out of it, but Wayne helped me prevail through these struggles and always pushes to go the extra mile with me and says everything how it is, with providing information that is key for media especially when I was resisting media studies in 2024 where I got a grade 3 in the summer of 2023 but within 3 months of working with him when I resat them I was able to get a grade 5 he's provided me with extra film equipment then I already had like lighting, for a music video I done which was able to be premiered into the Coventry pheonix film festival and the university gave me an unconditional Tor a music video i aone which was able to be premiered into the Coventry pheonix film festival and the university gave me an unconditional. These are the reasons why I think Wayne is a trustworthy tutor and any student doing a creative course in media would be lucky to have him.
