About Jewel-lee
For 5 years, I worked as a special needs direct support assistant helping students read independently. Together we worked on phonics with both non fiction and fictional stories. Afterwards, we discussed the meaning of the books' messages.
As a caregiver for 13 years,I read to the elderly to help spark laughter and topics to discuss. We read books like the Bible, Narnia, and current events.
