About Ewaenruwa
I have tutored over 30 high school students in Mathematics and the sciences, and have dozens of hours of experience working with students who were failing, or passing but wanted better marks. I am very optimistic about every student I tutor, and will never give up on them until I see them pass and get ahead. I make math simple for my tutees using common-place analogies and real-life events.
I've also worked with students from all backgrounds, ethnicities and levels of English proficiency, and I will use simple words that get the point across.

I always focus on the concepts more than just the solution to the problem. Whether it's graphing, probability or functions, I invest most of my time in explaining why. I'll begin by showing the tutee how to solve the problem, and get them to solve another example by themselves. If they can't solve it, I make sure I explain each step, and why that step is important, until they can understand it and do it by themselves. I always use visuals, rather than simply speaking, to allow the tutee to connect with the information in more than one way.
