About Todd
"Teaching Spanish for 13 years allows me to observe how adults struggle with rigid textbook methods that ignore real life. Standing in my classroom in Washington DC, I often see students realize that the key to fluency is not memorizing lists but engaging with the language as a native speaker would. My MA from UChicago informs the way I break down verb conjugation and writing skills into manageable segments that actually stick.
I have successfully guided over 422 students through the pressures of AP Spanish and DELE exams. Beyond certifications, I enjoy helping professionals navigate business Spanish and casual dialogue practice.
