About Blake
I am a University student planning to major in Pure Mathematics. I have always had a passion for maths and computer science, and have spent much of my free time applying my maths knowledge to my own personal projects.
My projects include building an AI from scratch (requiring a solid foundation of calculus from Math Methods combined with many topics from Specialist Maths), and rendering animations of the Mandelbrot set to use maths as an excuse to look at cool patterns.

When I teach I put emphasis on getting intuition and a visual understanding that you can use in practice rather than just memorization.
I typically make digital demonstrations to illustrate an explanation as it is needed (quite often)
I believe the best way to learn is to be interested in the topic, and I will do my best to make sure you are. If there is any particular topic or application that interests you, let me know and I can incorporate that into our sessions.
