About Jacqueline
Hi! I’m an experienced Japanese tutor with many years of helping Australian high school students succeed in their ATAR exams, including WACE, VCE, HSC and SACE.
I hold a JLPT N1 qualification—the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test—so I have a deep understanding of the language as well as exam expectations. I’m very familiar with the ATAR Japanese curriculum and use a structured, proven teaching approach to help students improve confidently and achieve strong results.
My lessons focus on building real skills in listening and speaking, while also strengthening grammar and vocabulary. I provide homework, high-quality materials, targeted practice, and clear strategies to help you feel well-prepared and perform your best in exams.

I offer tutoring sessions either from my home or online, depending on your preference. Lessons are usually conducted one-on-one to ensure personalised support, but I also organise small group sessions for students at a similar level during exam weeks — to practise speaking and listening skills.
My tutoring covers all key areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a balanced and structured approach tailored to your goals.
